Like many of you, I really enjoyed Melody’s first CD, and was excited for this one.
However, much of the Jazz seemed to be gone, and the majority of the songs sound like they were written for Judy Garland.
It’s still a good CD but she needs to lose the orchestra and get back to the horns and guitar.

Find her voice unsusual, sultry, but sometimes sad. A great CD to listen to when one wants quiet time.

I had never heard of this artist before purchasing this CD. I really enjoyed listening to it. It is reminiscent of early jazz in NYC. I would recommend this CD as easy listening, even for someone who doesn’t normally listen to jazz. Melody’s voice is very unique and inviting. She songs are catchy and soulful.

Addictive, deeply entrancing, melancholic, meandering melodies from an incredible artist… The stuff that legends are made of.

I was really looking forward to this but what a disappointment. Enough, no more of my money based on teasers.
Sorry, I was wrong. Guess you had to be there for the live recording. The studio stuff is fantastic
