Great Game… Excellent Graphics… A lot of improvement in the players and gaming… Worth the money over PES 2010.

I have played Pro Evo for past few years and FIFA. Ever since last year FIFA wins in every category, and it does so this year too. The graphics are just terrible in the game, really ugly. The game play I feel is very rigid and players don’t move at all realistically. Lack of licensing gets quite annoying too, although it’s Pro Evo so you expect that. Champion’s League licensing is awesome though and its a shame FIFA doesn’t have that too since they would do a whole lot better of a job.

  3. Guirong Zhang Said,

horrible horrible game, where do i start?

My dad got this game for me for my birthday, and I was so pretty physced. I already had fifa 10 and i enjoyed playing that. So i put it in, and it took forever to load like 5 minutes and then after that i had to download some updates on rosters? That took about 10 minutes, and then the first thing i did was look at the menu. There aren’t a lot of modes to choose from, and in fifa there is manager mode, be a pro, lounge, and online leauges, online games play friends and a lot more i don’t feel like typing, but in PES there is so little.

I then played a exibition. Once i saw the players in the tunnel, I was amazed, the graphics are very very good. But once the kickoff started, it turned out to be very very bad.

There is no scoreboard like on the television, you just see a time running in the sides of the screen, In FIFA, they actually have those things like on TV which shows you what team, the time, and the score which is way better than PES’s.

The players do not run natural at all, they look like zombies running and their leg motion is not realistic, and just looks awful, compared to FIFA’s the running of fifa is so natural and looks actually graceful and elegant.

In PES, when the players are standing, they look horrible too, also like zombies. They are hunched over with a hunch back and looks dazed like he doesn’t know what is happening. Oh and also there are no emotions when a guy is running or kicking, his face is just the same.

If you say you don’t pay attention to that stuff, once you score, the fans are quiet. The fans are DISGUSTING. Konami should pay some attention to their fans! They just sit there and the volume gets a little bit louder once you score a goal and there is a time limit when the volume stops and it is very obvious. Looks like konami spent too much time on graphics then on other things. In fifa, the fans are very good. They do chants, songs, and they are very realistic and the volume increases at the right times with no time limit when to stop and its just way better.

You can also say you don’t care about the fans, then listen to the commentary. The commentary is just wrong most of the time. It is very repetative and is always like 3 seconds late. i can score a goal and 3 seconds later the commentator says “He goes up the field and, OH its a goal!!” In fifa, there is a more wide range of comments by the commentator and it is right on time.

You can say those are the little things of a game, but you have to know this too. The ball physics is just .. theres no word for it but its very very bad. The ball glitches every 30 seconds, it would go through a player’s leg or go through the cross bar. Also one time when i kicked the ball the ball went all the way to the goal and it went through the goalkeeper’s chest and scored. At the moment i was like sweet cool goal and laughed at it but once you think about it that could happen to you in online.

im on a roll, the online is just bad. It laggs so much i just can’t play my friend. I was playing him and it kept lagging and he just said its always like this. In fifa there is rarley any lag if any. EA sports are professionals and konami just can’t compete every year PES’s online is bad.

The AI (artificial intelligence) is so bad too. Those are the people who are on your team or the people who isn’t that is controlled by computers. Most of the time they just stand there looking like zombies instead of making runs which annoys me. I don’t have anyone to pass to since they stand there and gets covered so i have to take it in myself and the defender stands there too which is NOT realistic at all.

Also PES doesn’t have licenses for some teams and your favorite team may just be a random name

There are much more i have to say about this game, but i have to go study. Just don’t get this game! I mean, the graphics are good, but everything else it is horrible and not even in the same leauge as fifa. take my advice, get fifa.

Before PES, i never appreciated how good FIFA is. I did not return PES but i should have and i still play PES once in a while. But if your tight on budget and can’t decide which game to get, then get FIFA 10.

  5. German Pomares Herrera Said,

For me Soccer is not about tricks. For that there is a basketball game where you can have fun for hours showing your skills with the ball. Football is a team game. The genius is to find the hole to pass the ball and score the goal, talent is anticipating the move of the opponent. That’s why PES10 is still the best soccer game, gives space to improvise, to astonishment, beating Brazil with the team of Honduras for the slightest difference. In FIFA10, I have, I play without improvising, I know where are the rival players, what they do, the places where it is always a goal. I know when the computer is going to score. Not fun, even playing against a human opponent. My recommendation is to try both games and choose one that fits your particular style and taste.
