I bought this for my toddler. She loves to self-feed and is very messy in the process. Based on the photos, I thought she would be strong enough to squeeze the handle herself and the smaller amounts of food wouldn’t create the same sorts of mess an entire container of baby yougurt can create. She is not strong enough to squeeze the spoon and it came apart with the first use! This item was hand washed (by me). SEcuring the compontents with tape did not help. This item has several flaws that need to be addressed before I would leave a favorable review.

My daughter is one of those feeders who is easily distracted and loves to gum the spoon, “feed” herself, or play with her food. The deep concave design of the spoon makes is difficult, rather, impossible for her to scrape the food off of the spoon, so she only gets what lies above the spoon line. Because the spoon is so hard, she also can’t gum it.
I also think that she is a little scared of how large the spoon is…kinda of a massive thing to put in front of a baby’s face. Lastly, she loves to try to feed herself, and the Boon is simply too big for her to handle.

I love this invention! I use this whenever I bring my baby out, so I can drink my cocktail in one hand, and feed baby with the other!
All the parts fit well so there is no leakage and it is a breeze to wash.
I would definitely recommend this for all parents who are weaning their baby!

We bought this with high hopes it would be a timesaver/mess reducer. Nope. Not at all. The food gets all over the place or gets stuck and won’t come out which leads to more bowls and spoons being used. Tried with all kinds of consistancy of foods and it is not worth the money. Good idea but just does not work.

This item is just GREAT. Perfect for on the go mom. I have a 8 month old who is awesome and he just seems to love this spoon. I think it’s great because I can feed him just about anywhere i.e (grocery store, mall,park) anywhere! Without having to fuss with a bowl, spoon and clean up. I love it, anyone who does’nt really has issues:)
