   While I love the idea of these cases, it took my six year old nephews about three weeks to discover how fun (and easy) it was to peel the Nerf foam off and destroy the “armor.” It doesn’t do a whole lot to protect the DS when it’s in pieces in the trash.

   I am not sure how much armor to protect your investment should be. But I find it extremely comfortable and easy to use. Nerf does a good job making all of the ports and controls accessible. If you plan on removing the armor frequently, I suggest you find a different armor. While this is removable, I don’t. Also I have dropped my DSi on a tile floor once since installing it. No damage, but if you are unlucky enough to drop in on a back corner, it could crack the hinges in the back. But I think this is the best armor I can find for the DSi.

   My grandson will really enjoy this product when he gets his new DSi for Christmas. We thought this would be compatable with his current DS but found out that it is different.
