  1. ddk Said,

You have to wonder about the brains behind this phone. In this day and ages its the only multi-phone system that doesn’t have an automatic privacy feature. What this means is that anyone with another handset will get in on your conversation, unless you first scroll through your menus to activate “Privacy On” for every single phone call. The system default is Privacy Off and you can’t change it, now you tell me is this stupid or is this STUPID! Unfortunately this kills it for us no matter what other features it might have.

I contacted Panasonic to replace the phone with another system but I got rerouted to the Philippines only to be told that they can’t help, so no more Panasonic products of any kind for us.

These are great phones, but even better was the vendor I purchased from.

    Excellent service. Highly recommeneded.

  3. Mary Coleman Said,

I purchased 6 of these wireless phones to use with the matching Panasonic KX-TG9392T desk/speakerphone. I am very unhappy with my purchase. The phones will work intermittently for anywhere from 10 minutes to 30 minutes and then they die and you lose the connection. The problem still occurs even after replacing all batteries. The problem occurs even when you stay very close to their cradle and the main desk phone, so it does not appear to be a range issue. I contacted Panasonic customer service and never heard back from them or could get through to anyone. Don’t purchase these phones. They are worthless. I will never buy Panasonic phones again. Very disappointing and a big waste of money.

I researched this product thoroughly and was convinced it was among the best on the market. I am replacing an older Siemens Gigaset 8800. I thought for sure the DECT 6.0 would offer the clearest sound with a very good signal. It didn’t take long for me to be surprised when these phones would go into periodic garbled mode. There was no consistency to the sound degradation; it seemed to happen with different handsets and in various locations around my home. I need an updated phone since Siemens doesn’t seem to have very good offerings these days. unfortunately , it won’t be this phone.

Our older AT&T system was failing, and replacement handsets were no longer available…even though the base was working well. Had previously had a siemens unit and hated it.

This phone just misses on a few things which would have made it great — sharing phonebooks with base AND handsets would be great. The fact that the base unit has different ringtones than the handsets is also odd.

However, performance is good, call quality acceptable, nice large buttons and ease of use make this a system

we hope to have for a long time. And yes, I bought some extra handsets this time
