A friend got this and potty trained her child in no time. Mine arrived today and to my utter disappointment will not assemble. The stem appears to be too curved to fit into the base and no matter how much pressure we put on it, we can’t get the stem & base to align, which means we can’t put in the screws to secure it. What a disappointment! I called customer service but only got a recording. Am returning it right now in hopes a replacement arrives soon and I can update my review with some more stars. Meantime my little one is very sad today!

Before the peter potty, potty training my little boy was a mess! I had to keep cleaning the rugs, the bathroom coz he kept missing! The Peter Potty is so simple to use, he just stands there and goes and presses the little flush button and we’re done. When the water from the flusher is gone, just get some more water from the faucet and then the just dump the urine in the toilet! The Peter Potty was definitely worth it!!!!

The Peter Potty does not include the mounting tools necessary for mounting, this is sold separately. Although I had no intentions of mounting the urinal to a wall the product advertises 2 positions, it can either stand on the post (included) or mounted to a wall. Also the urinal must lean against a wall or supportive object. It is NOT free standing. We also keep a small towel underneath because when you flush the water sometimes spills over to the floor. My 2 year old loves the Peter Potty Urinal and I like it because it is unique and introduces my son to an urinal. If asked would I buy this product if I knew then what I know now, the answer would be YES simply because the pros outweigh the cons.

I got this item for my son when he was showing no intrest in getting potty trained. The night that I recieved this my son wanted to try it out. within 4 days he was completly potty trained within a week and a half no accidents at night. I love this thing. I recommend it to all my friends with boys. The only downside is that you have to really watch how much is in the little green drawer if it gets to high it leaks. Other than that I love this it is truly and life saver.

I started my boy sitting on the baby bjorn potty(great byw) but then I couldn’t get my 3 year old to stand. He’ll be 4 soon and he still uses as a downstairs bathroom. I wish I could gift this product to every mother of boys.
