This clip does hold onto cash and cards. It seems to hold the cash very tightly and the cards somewhat loosely. I have seen these clips advertised by many stores since I purchased it. The NRA is selling one with the NRA logo engraved for $10 less than I paid.
Both the cash and the cards stay in place and the weight keeps them in the bottom of my pocket. This clip works. I am rating it 3 stars because I believe the cash could be less tight and the cards more tight and the price lower.

I went online looking for a money clip and found the perfect one on Amazon.com. It was one that held cash on one side and credit cards on the other. Plus it was engravable and I found that to be just perfect for my boyfriend’s valentines gift. He loved it and immediately filled it with cash and credit cards.
