The Alfa 1000mW 1W increased my signal strenth from very low to excellent.
I purchased this unit,when I go to campgrounds with wifi to help increase signal
strenth, can’t wait to try it there, but I took it to my cottage, and used it there,
where I get a poor signal, and it brought it up to very good to excellent.

This is pretty good Network card, and it has pretty goog range in a city. I think this is pretty good deal exept the seller charge to much for the shipping. But other wise, I thing the Alfa dos grat job. I youse to have like 3 bars and now I have full bars with Alpha, it make’s me werry happy, and proud that I buy it.

it works great, i use it in my motorhome, and it lets me connect to my router great.
my motorhome has something in it that blocked my signal from getting to my lap top, but with this it works great, it is very easy to use.
it even gave me a better signal for my cell phone in the motorhome.

I must say that this unit really works GREAT except for the BIG 9dbi antenna. When I tried using the BIG antenna the received signals dropped by about 50 percent. When I put the smaller antenna back on, all of the signals returned. I do not know if I have a bad BIG antenna or it is just not tuned correctly at the factory for this transciever.
The unit with the small antenna is really a huge help for me trying to access some WIFI hot spots which were not reachable with my laptop wireless.
