I used this (and a another piece) to fix my brother’s headphones, so I don’t know if I’m really using it the way that was intended but I can say that they are being used daily and I guess if something doe’s its job, even a job for which it wasn’t intended – that’s still a good thing.

If you are looking for a 6′ male to male extension for whatever reason, this is perfect. Both sides are male! It’s not like those others, all hermaphrodite and stuff.

If you need a 6ft cable for a couple days this is a great option. If you expect it to last longer than a week look elsewhere. Three days into use and music came in only as lyrics, no beats. The next day no singing just the music, by the fifth day one end had frayed and just about come off. Searching for a replacement.

I purchased this cable for my car to connect my ipod to the aux input of the car. The quality of the sound is good but the connector keeps getting disconnected from one of the speakers and I have to move it and play with it.

The five star rating is for the price. They seem to work well for use hooking up the iPod to the auxiliary input in the car. I haven’t had any durability issues but I have not been rough on the cable either. If you are looking for a 3.5 mm cable that works for a low price this is it.
