While this is very well put together, I had to put a bit of velcro along the back of the snap so that it wouldn’t stick out when I have the case open and the stand up.
However, the reason why I’m 3 starring this item is because the description states it is leather and it most definitely is not. Personally, when I buy an item that says it’s made out of leather it should be as described.
Other than that, if you’re looking for a sleek professional-looking, LEATHER-LIKE case with a collaspable stand this is a good choice. If it had really been made of leather, I’d have given it a 5.
Also, it’s supposed to have a screen guard/protector, but it did not come with one.

Not a bad case. It’s a sturdy case – not sure how protective per se. It will keep the screen save when it’s in my brief case, though. The stand is perfect! That’s it’s primary use at this point.
A few beefs:
* The screen cut out is a smidgen too small. It’s cutting off the border rather severely.
* There’s no place to snap the snap when it’s open. I just kinda hangs there. It’d be nice to snap over the top of the iPad to keep it safe in the case.
* The stitching looks a bit cheap. I’m worried about it falling apart in the long run.
* I’m not convinced that it’s real leather.
But hey… for the price, I can’t complain. I’m a bit miffed though that the price dropped $6 since I bought it…

I just received the case this morning. Here my initial thoughts: the opening for the display is cut tight – maybe a bit too tight as I have to angle my thumb a bit to push the back button in safari. The picture frame stand mechanism is excellent. Coupled with the soft leathery material it’s flexible enough to find the right angle to make the iPad stand up straight. The one thing I’m not too happy about is the fact the iPad can slide out of the case when open.for the money though it’s a no brainer. I’m happy with my purchase and it beats the apple case hands down.

I received my case in a timely fashion. The case is leather and so far is quite sturdy and durable. As some have mention there is a snap to keep the case closed. Other reviewers have noted the snap will not protect the iPad from slipping out when open. However, that issue is resolved if you also secure it with the small elastic strap that is meant to go around the top right corner of the iPad. The only caveat with the elastic strap is that it’s a little close to the on/off switch. For me it’s been quite functional, though it didn’t stand out on my first inspection.
For my purposes this case meets and in some respects exceeds my needs. It’s attractive and protects my device from scratches and bumps. The magnet closures have been helpful in keeping parts intact. My two suggestions which were already mentioned include adjusting the tilt or viewing angle for a more comfortable position when typing on the device and figuring out why their were so many listings with varying price points from what appeared to be the same seller. Overall the price I paid was still vastly cheaper and reasonable than what is being charged at the Apple Store, Bestbuy and other retailers/manufacturers. Oh, it would have been nice to include the screen protector with each case. Though, I managed to find that at a local “Five Below” store for a cheap price.
I’m happy so far with my case! If someone comes out with a dockable solution that doesn’t require taking off the case and that is reasonably priced then I’m game!

Wow!! I love this case. It has far surpassed my expectations.
Not only does it look and feel great, but the stand feature
is priceless!!! I used it on a 5 hour flight yesterday and it was perfect
setup on my tray table to watch my movies. When compared to the other choices out
there it is a no brainer. It is less than half the price of other similar
cases which don’t even have the stand feature. My ipad feels very snug and secure
in this case. It is definitely well protected. I just bought another black one to give to
my boss for his birthday and a red for me Deluxe Leather Apple Ipad Case with Built-in Stand (Red).
Couldn’t be happier. Trust me, just buy it and you will
never look back.
