would it “NOT” work with a laptop(Lenovo T61) which has NVIDIA quadro NVS card?
NVIDIA web site says that the graphic card has Integrated SD/HD TV output.
How can you say so adamently that this cable would not work with any computer?VGA Male to 3RCA (Component Video) Male Cable: 6 ft

Its a very specific product and works only with ports that are capable of converting the video signal to component.
Make sure it will work with your model before buying it.

Purchased this cable to go from a Wii to a projector, and it worked perfectly.

I have an NEC projector with a Panasonic DMP-BD10AK blu-ray player. Since my projector only took a VGA-in as the HD source input, I needed a VGA male (15pin) with RCA component male cable (RGB).
This cable did the trick, and now I have HD goodness on a wall!

if you use this with a computer projector, you can have a 2500 dollar HD projector for a little more than 500 dollars. This cable allows you to take the componant signal from your progressive scan device or your HD source and convert it into the RGB connection found on all computer projector models. Since computers have pretty much always had a better resolution than television- they have been making HD ready projectors for “presentations” for 10 years almost and they are much less expensive than a “HDMI” projector… you dont need HDMI to your projector anyway since you dont use it for sound…. componant all the way.
