I ordered the clear and it works for me. It unobtrusively fits my 13.3″ macbook pro. The retractable legs are convenient. I wanted something to protect my laptop that wasn’t obvious or bulky.

I got this case because it was cheap. It’s a nice case. Snaps into place, just like it should. BUT, it was obviously designed for the old Macbook powercords. The new macbook pro that I got (May 2010) has a different style of power cord where instead of the cord coming straight out of the plug, it is perpendicular. The plastic case was obviously designed for the old laptop cord, because now, it is really sensitive when you use plug the cord in one of two ways. It’s kind of hard to describe. It’s a slight annoyance, but still an annoyance.

Overall I’m very pleased with this cover. I was very surprised with how easily it snapped on my laptop! I am NOTORIOUS for scratching and breaking laptops and having this case on my new macbook makes a huge difference. It pops on and stays very well. I also like the tiny legs on the bottom that tilt it up. The only drawbacks are that when the bottom piece is on the screen can’t tilt back as far as I like, so sometimes I take the bottom piece off. And the keyboard cover is a hassle to get on straight and makes the sound quieter so I don’t use it. But the cover itself is great. And mcover shipped this VERY quickly…very impressed with the shipping!

I am really happy with my clear macbook hard cover. The only thing I think is funny about it is that it is a clear plastic cover with a frosted square over the apple logo on the top of the mac. It’s just amusing to me that they sort of blur that out. Besides that, it’s perfect and I love the foot rests on the bottom of the cover that prop the mac up while I’m typing. I have 2 small boys, so while I’d rather not have to have a cover and show of the perfect silver of my new computer, I want to keep it that way for longer, so this makes that necessity a nice thing instead of an ugly boxy cover. Thanks!

This case was easy to snap on and has been very secure. I haven’t had any issue with it, I like the frosted center and the bottom has a openings for ventilation. I totally recommend this product.
