   I can tell you what this book tells you here in this review. Guessing is ok which they tell you when you take the test. Other than examples of questions there is not much that really helps you in this book. Maybe I’m slow but if I’m going to pay for help on a test I expect results.

   I wanted to bring my math score up and this book helped. i hope it helps you. i love buscuits and wish this book came with one. I can’t bake my own because i’m not allowed in the kitchen area ever since I put my shoes in the oven to dry them out. My dad really got MAD at that shannanagan. he called me pretty slow when I did that so I bought this ACT GUIDE and showed him I can divide fractions almost. You REALLY NEED TO BUY THIS GUIDE and dip it in gravy, like you would a biscuit. and remember, say no to drugs.

   This book contains a number of sample sample tests and fairly complete reviews of many of the answers. It is wonderful tool for visual learners. My daughter, however, is not a very visual learner. I give it three stars for us because I still ended up needing additional tutoring to supplement the book (which I was hoping to avoid). The tutoring group actually use this book! Anyway, she is retaking the ACTs as I type this review and I am hoping that between this book and the additional tutoring that I am done with any ACT expenses and hassel. So much riding on a standardized test that really does not always properly reflect the knowledge of a student. But I digress ….

   Please note that this book is exactly the same as the 1st edition. So if you can find the 1st edition cheaper go for it.

   If you can’t find the first edition, then get this one bacuse it is well worth the price. This book has 3 tests (though they are a bit dated- I was hoping for an updated set of tests, but meh-no biggie), answers and explanations. While the tests are valuable, the explanations make the book cheap, since with CB’s book (Official SAT Study Guide) you need to buy the Onlone Course for explanations ($70)or buy some guy’s (who no one knows) solution manual here on Amazon.

   In conclusion, great prep book for the ACT, and the SAT sux vag.
