  1. Ann L. Brady Said,

What has not been mentioned elsewhere is that the clock goes into snooze mode after about a minute. This may be a generational thing, but I prefer making my own decisions to machines making decisions for me. I want a clock to keep doing it’s alarm thing until I decide to hit the snooze button or turn it off.

And yes, the alarm itself is VERY “gentle” and yes there is a problem with turning off the alarm. In my case I have to remove the battery- sort of defeats the feature of being able to set the alarm for the whole week.

If there was an option for zero stars, this would get it.

  2. Deipnosophist Said,

    Has “weekday”, “saturday”, “sunday” alarms.

Snooze/turn off alarm located on top rarely functions/works…:-(

Found out on the internet, you can simply double click the “weekday”, “saturday”, “sunday” buttons and it works!

Not good for snooze alarm…won’t shut off, keeps beeping until the batteries are dead!

  3. A mom of twins Said,

the idea of this alarm is really great & unique. i always wanted some thing that i don’t have to cancel it’s alarms by the weekend (or suffer the consequences in a weekend morning)& then redo it after the weekend.

the thing is, it almost doesn’t stand so if i want to know the time i have to search for it & actually hold it.

  4. Laura L. Marschel Said,

I bought this as a second alarm clock for our room since I usually wake up earlier than my husband. It has some problems as a product but for me it’s perfect. I like the adjustable volume (hold in the Up or Down button to adjust, or you can lay it on it’s back to block the speaker.) and husband can sleep through it easily. Also I like that it beeps twice, then waits, then beeps louder, etc. After seeing on reviews that people have probs with the snooze button I already knew I would just turn the alarm off and on every day and not chance the snooze. So I just push the alarm button to turn it off in the morning and reset it before I got ot bed. I do have the same problem that the snooze button does not make contact consistently, but luckily I never snooze. I think the addition of an alarm reset button would help a lot rather than the double click snooze to turn it off but I don’t mind just turning it off. I suppose you could also just turn it off and right back on in the morning if you didn’t want to bother resetting it at night. But otherwise it’s just fine, and the price is certainly good. I like that it has the date, day and time as well as a daylight savings option. I have not had to use the Saturday/Sunday alarms yet but it’s a nice feature. Customer service at Rayna was very nice and quick to respond when I emailed them. (I didn’t know how to choose a color. Still don’t but I got the right one anyhow.) Had it not been so affordable I would have thought more about the flaws but really I couldn’t find anything with these features anywhere near this price range.

  5. H. Miller Said,

The multi day alarm settings are alright, but the alarm itself is not loud enough even at the highest setting. The gentle sound pattern is a little too gentle.
